About DTC

We’re dedicated to offering the highest level of service–not as just another local company, but as dedicated partners serving our friends, family, and neighbors in our local areas.

DeKalb Telephone Cooperative, Inc (DTC) has been serving Alexandria, Auburntown, Gordonsville, Liberty, Milton, Norene, Smithville, Temperance Hall, Woodbury, and Woodland as the local telephone company since 1951. We were created by local citizens to provide basic telephone service to these rural areas at a time when none existed due to the higher costs and lack of profits in servicing rural areas of Tennessee.

Today, DTC has progressed from basic telephone service to advanced communications services, including the best in Internet, Voice, Security, and TV services. In addition, we provide high-quality and right-sized services for businesses with customized systems and dedicated support.

From staying connected with local events to keeping up with the advancing communication technologies, DTC keeps in touch, all while maintaining a sense of local pride. We live in the communities we serve, so you know that you’re talking to someone who can understand your needs and assist in providing the best solution.

We believe in being a good neighbor by giving back to the people we serve by supporting and being involved with the local schools, ball teams and other community groups and events.

We are dedicated to offering the highest level of service as partners serving neighbors and friends in our local areas.

Our history is rich, but we believe the future can be even better. We will continue providing the best possible service, at the lowest possible cost to help you make meaningful connections.

Providing world-class broadband and technology solutions to improve the quality of life in the regions we serve.
