SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER
DTC Communications is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our IT/Network team. This position will be responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing network infrastructure and application components to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The Senior Network Engineer will perform a broad range of evaluation, maintenance, installation, and training tasks while providing technical direction and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations.
In addition to strong technical leadership and communication skills, the ideal candidate will have an associate degree (or equivalent technical training) in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in the IT or related field. A bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is preferred. Must obtain CCNP certification within one year of placement in the role. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong expertise in routing, switching, wireless, and VoIP technologies, as well as protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS. Experience with Windows and Linux operating environments and core network services including DNS, CGN, and DHCP is essential. Familiarity with modern OSS platforms and tools, such as AXOS, EXA, and Telecom Cloud solutions, is also highly desirable.
